panic
Yesterday was a rough day. I was wondering why I was not on my math teachers attendance list. I applied for my classes in October. As it turned out I had dropped the class. At one time I had decided to take another class and drop my math class. I tried to do a web drop, but the system told me to try later. How about on the first day of school the system decides to work and drop my class, but I didn't know. I have been going to the class not knowing that I was no longer registered. After running around the campus for a while I got everthing straight. When I got to my car I had a ticket because My memphis decal is for the fall semester. I am demanding that things come together in my life. I have to try harder for my successes.

Adjusting can be hard, Tomesha.
ReplyDeleteBut just take things one day at a time. You can't try to tackle all of life's problems in one day. Take each item as it comes and solve it from there. You are in control of your own destiny and only YOU can determine how far you go.
There are speedbumps along this thing we call life but it's how you adjust for them that makes the difference. Do you speed up right before you hit them and take the risk? Or do you slow down and prepare for it and ease the pain.
Just some food for thought.
Pax,

Aww, bad day, huh? At least you got things figured out for your class. I'm in the same predicament with needing to get my shit straight. Don't be too hard on yourself though. The parking shit is quite petty and it happens to mostly everyone at some point. Keep your the big picture in sight. I know it's really hard to do. Thinking about our far off futures when everything is so uncertain and instant gratification is so much more tempting. You sound determinied, I'm sure the ultimate success you seek will come for you.
ReplyDeleteThat's good you got everything worked out because U of M can be very stupid when it comes to your classes . I need to drop one of my classes because its very difficult . Everything will fall into place , you just gotta be patient . I'm learning that now .
